Suspected drug pusher nabbed in Quirino

CABARROGUIS, Quirino—A 32-year-old woman was arrested on Wednesday following a buy-bust operation in Nagtipunan town.

Marivic Sablan, who allegedly operates with the aliases Maribel Begonia and Shy, has been under surveillance for drug trafficking, said Senior Insp. Alex Orbillo, Nagtipunan police chief.

Sablan was caught with two sachets of alleged shabu (methamphetamine) and a marked P500 bill. A native of Leyte, Sablan was a former entertainer in Maddela town who settled in Nagtipunan recently.

She was among the confessed drug dealers and drug users who gave up to the police in July.
