Witnesses say 3 armed men came to victim's house looking for her boyfriend

SUBIC, Zambales — A 27-year-old woman was killed inside her house by unidentified gunmen, who were searching for her boyfriend on Wednesday (Aug. 24), police said.

Mary Grace Nilo, a resident of Barangay (village) Calapacuan here, was shot in the head at 2 a.m., said PO3 Felix Laron III, an investigator at the Subic police station.

Citing witnesses’ accounts, Laron said three men barged into the victim’s rented house, looking for Jilmani Ummay.

Told that Ummay was not home, one of the suspects pulled out a handgun and killed Nilo, police said.
