Senator Grace Poe has conducted a surprise visit at the Southwest Integrated Transport Terminal in Parañaque City “to witness firsthand the plight of commuters.”
Poe inspected the terminal Tuesday or two days before the scheduled resumption of the hearing of the Senate committee on public services, which she chairs.
The committee is set to resume on Thursday its hearing on several measures, seeking to grant President Rodrigo Duterte emergency powers to address the traffic problem in the country.
