A civilian chopper sent to pick up rescuers of the workers killed in a flooded tunnel in Quezon went missing since Monday, the military said on Tuesday.

Lt. Col. Ramil Anoyo, commander of the Army’s 48th Infantry Battalion said they have launched search and rescue operations for the missing four-seater chopper from MarcroAsia.

“Ang purpose kasi nun sana eh sunduin niya yung rescue team ng Philex pabalik, kaso hindi na siya naka-land ng Sumag river,” he said.
