LPA leaves PAR but monsoon will affect Luzon, Visayas
A low pressure area tracked by the state weather bureau has left the Philippine area of responsibility.
Panahon.TV said midday Tuesday that the LPA was last located 430 kilometers west of Baguio City.
The low pressure area is a weather disturbance that usually has a potential to become a tropical cyclone.
The southwest monsoon will continue to affect the western section of Southern Luzon and Visayas.
At 10 a.m., the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said a thunderstorm is possible in National Capital Region, Albay, Benguet, Ilocos Norte, northern Mindanao and Davao region within 12 hours. CDG/rga
