‘PR for lolo?’ Sara Duterte slams doc’s take on triplet pregnancy

DAVAO CITY – Mayor Sara Duterte blasted forensic pathologist Dr. Raquel Fortun over the latter’s tweet, which she said was a form of malediction.

In her August 19 tweet over Sara’s pregnancy, which the Inquirer reported, Fortun wrote: ““Too early to rejoice over 7weeker lalo na triplets (especially they are triplets). Wait for delivery and spare oneself from heartache. PR for Lolo (Is it PR for the grandfather)?”

The “lolo” apparently refers to President Rodrigo Duterte, father of Inday Sara.

Sara said the announcement was indeed PR as it was intended to inform the people of Davao why she had not been recently seen in public.

She earlier said her doctor had advised her against attending public gatherings to avoid catching infections.

“The problem with you Miss is you don’t like the grandfather and you curse the fetuses. There are three of them, which means that bad karma would be three times too,” Sara said.
