No killings: 5 fall in Olongapo drug busts

OLONGAPO CITY — Five suspects were arrested in drug busts conducted on Tuesday (Aug. 16) and Wednesday (Aug. 17).

Leo Angelo Ladera, 28, was caught with six sachets of suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) and marked money during a Wednesday buy-bust operation in Barangay (village) West Bajac-Bajac here, said Senior Superintendent Jerry Sumbad, acting director of the Olongapo City Police Office.


The four other drug suspects were arrested in a separate buy-bust operation in Barangay Pag-asa on Tuesday. Their identities have not been released at press time.  SFM
