MANILA — The contractor for the Skyway Stage 3 project (SS3) has started installing beams on the columns along Osmeña highway on the side of the Buendia flyover.

For the three-month duration of this activity, all northbound motorists coming from Skyway are encouraged to use the Skyway Magallanes off-ramp or the Don Bosco off-ramp to go to Makati City.

Motorists coming down from Skyway Buendia off-ramp will have to use the Osmeña service road toward their destination in Manila, as they will not be allowed to use the Buendia flyover.

However, trucks, cargo vans and other vehicles higher than 4.5 meters will be diverted to designated alternate routes. The details of the traffic diversion scheme were discussed in a recent meeting with the officers and members of the trucking associations.

Additional traffic enforcers will be deployed around the work site and alternate routes to direct traffic flow and assist motorists.

Manila-bound motorists are also advised to avoid the Buendia flyover-Osmeña area while the activity is in progress.

Together with the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, Toll Regulatory Board, Makati Public Safety Department, and Skyway O&M Corp., Team SS3 appeals for public understanding and apologizes for any inconvenience that the project may cause.  SFM
