Classes in whole Pangasinan suspended on Monday

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan — Governor Amado Espino III has cancelled classes, scheduled for Monday (Aug. 15) in all levels in Pangasinan’s public and private schools, because of the monsoon rains.

He also urged residents living in low-lying areas to proceed to designated evacuation centers or to the houses of relatives and friends located on higher ground.

At 12 noon Sunday, 21 barangays (villages) in the towns of Calasiao and Sta. Barbara and Dagupan City have been flooded.  SFM
