Several cities were forced to cancel classes on Friday as the monsoon rains continued to affect Luzon and parts of Visayas.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said the southwest monsoon will affect Luzon and Western Visayas while monsoon rains will be experienced over Zambales, Bataan, Pangasinan, Mindoro, Palawan, Cavite and Batangas. KS/CDG
Classes in the following areas have been suspended:
Metro Manila:
- Caloocan – all levels (public and private)
- Malabon – all levels, afternoon classes (public and private)
- Manila – all levels (public and private)
- Navotas City – all levels (public and private)
- Pasay City – elementary and highschool, (public and private)
- Valenzuela City – all levels, afternoon classes (public and private)
Provinces
- Bataan – all levels (public and private)
- Caluya, Antique – all levels (public and private) /rga
