Rains to persist over Luzon due to southwest monsoon, LPA

“Monsoon rains will be experienced over Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA and the provinces of Zambales, Bataan, Pampanga, Tarlac and Bulacan,” the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.

The low pressure area was last spotted over 635 kilometers east of Basco, Batanes. The southwest monsoon is prevailing over Luzon and Western Visayas.
