CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga — Three airlines diverted seven planes to the Clark International Airport (CRK) in Pampanga on Tuesday (Aug. 9) because of bad weather and poor visibility at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Pasay City.
The Air Command Center of the Clark International Airport Corp. said the Cebu Pacific flights originated from Tagbiliran, Ozamis, Zamboanga and Mactan cities.
The Airphil flights came from Butuan and Catarman. The seventh was a private plane from Palawan.
In July, CRK received 28 local and international aircraft with more than 3,000 passengers because a large crack on the runway of NAIA, some 100 kilometers from Clark, was being repaired. SFM/rga
