Drunk man stabs couple
A drunk man stabbed and wounded a couple in barangay Guadalupe, Cebu City, past midnight yesterday.
Randy Superales, 21, was arrested after the incident.
Amancio Cabajar, 64, a security guard, sustained stab wounds in the body. His wife Theresita, 55, was wounded in the face.
Police investigation revealed that Cabajar was in his post at the Grand Legacy Subdivision when a drunk Superales arrived.
The couple’s house was near the subdivision.
Police said Superales talked to Amancio and apologized in behalf of his son who mauled the victim’s son a few days ago.
Amancio advised Superales to go home and settle the matter when he is not drunk.
Superales, however, got irked and stabbed Amancio several times.
Theresita heard her husband shouting for help. She rushed to her husband’s aid but was also attacked, said police.
