A tiny and fluffy canine reunited with her owners after she recognized their voices on television.
A lamentable event happened in the life of Kelly Schaefer, a native from Kansas City, Missouri, in the US when her husband, Alfred, who suffers from Alzheimer’s, went missing with their pet, a five-year-old bichon poodle named Tabitha. Alfred was strolling their pet on Sept. 2 last year when they got lost.
She was able to rescue Alfred, but Tabitha was nowhere to be found. Tabitha was watching TV with her adoptive family when Judy Le, a Fox4 news reporter, featured the Schaefer couple’s travail of finding their missing pooch.
Tabitha’s temporary owners said that the dog “perked up” upon recognizing her real owners, Fox 4 reported.
The adoptive owners wasted no time in calling up the news channel. After a week, Tabitha was returned to her real owners.
“To me, she’s my kid. I love her as much as I love my husband, my boys,” Kelly said of Tabitha. The heartwarming tale, which happened last year, is circulating on several news sites this week. Gianna Francesca Catolico
