Talipao mayor blacklisted by Duterte died in 2013 – police

President Rodrigo Duterte bares his blacklist of “drug coddlers” on Aug. 7, 2016, and orders them to report to the Philippine National Police in 24 hours.  But some of them are dead. (SCREENSHOT OF VIDEO FROM RTVM MALACAÑANG)

ZAMBOANGA CITY – Mayor Benhar Tulawie of Talipao, Sulu, will not be showing up in Camp Crame to meet with Philippine National Police Director Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa. This is because Tulawie died three years ago.

Tulawie’s name was one of the local chief executives mentioned by President Duterte on Sunday as involved in the illegal drug trade.

Supt. Junpikar Sittin, former police chief of Jolo town, said Tulawie died three years ago.

Sittin said the mayor was 70 years old when he died.  SFM
