‘Shabu’ warehouse uncovered in Angeles City
CITY OF SAN FERNANDO—A warehouse containing suspected “shabu” (metamphetamine hydrochloride) was discovered in Angeles City by the police and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency at 4 p.m. on Friday.
At press time, an inventory has yet to begin pending the arrival of authorized personnel and witnesses at the warehouse on Hensonville in Jasmin Street at Malabanias village, said Chief Supt. Aaron Aquino, Central Luzon police director.
Mayor Edgardo Pamintuan said the facility was owned by a former judge and a Chinese man who had been arrested.
Yiye Chen had been placed under the custody of the police, said Aquino.
Two big shabu laboratores were shut down in the city last year.
