LEGAZPI CITY – At least eight houses were burned in a fire in Victory Village in Legazpi City Friday morning.
Legazpi Mayor Noel Rosal said based on the initial reports reaching his office, the fire started at around 9 a.m. and was declared under control at 10:55 a.m.
Rosal said initial investigations by the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) revealed that it was caused by a faulty electrical wiring.
“No casualties were reported but five houses were totally burned,” Rosal said. CDG/rga
