MANILA — Manila police gunned down three men allegedly involved in the illegal drugs trade in Baseco on Sunday night. To this day, their identities have not been fully established.
One of the victims went by the name of “Robbie.” A driver’s license with the name of Sahir Omar from Baseco was found on the body of the other suspect. The last suspect did not carry any identification.
Anti-narcotics cops of Baseco claimed the drug buy-bust was consummated at 11 p.m.
Robbie dealt with PO1 Ren Elly Galvez and PO3 Nestor Lehetimaso but they did not say who shot him and the two other victims.
They said Robbie was in his 40s. He wore a white pair of cargo shorts and a multi-colored shirt.
One of the unnamed fatalities wore a black shirt and a pair of green and white pants. He appeared to be around 35 to 40 years old.
The other one had a driver’s license that carried the name Sahir Omar from Baseco. He wore a black shirt and brown military shorts.
Case investigator PO2 Lorenzo Catarat of the Ermita Police station said Robbie pulled out a revolver and shot them, which prompted them to shoot back. None of the cops were hurt. (With a report from Faye Orellana, Inquirer trainee). SFM/rga
