CEBU CITY — A self-confessed drug pusher was shot dead in Liloan town in northern Cebu.
Eddie Pangatongan was playing mahjong past 8 p.m. on Tuesday near a convenient store when a lone gunman shot him at Sitio Suba, Barangay Poblacion, Liloan town, Cebu.

PO3 Jason Gayo, duty desk officer of Liloan Police Station,  said that their records showed that Pangatongan, a resident of Sitio Talong, Barangay Calero, Liloan, surrendered last month during the implementation of the Oplan Tokhang, a police campaign that involved knocking on the doors of drug personalities and asking them to surrender.

Based on the initial information that Liloan Police Station gathered, two men on board a motorcycle arrived at Sitio Suba. One of them approached Pangatongan, shot him and then escaped.  SFM
