CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela—A 49-year-old former police officer was arrested on Thursday early dawn in Calamagui 2nd village here, police said.
Jose Joel de la Cruz, 49, a former Police Officer 3, was served an arrest warrant issued by Judge Anastacio Anghad of the Regional Trial Court Branch 36, said Supt. Manuel Bringas, Ilagan city police chief.
Dela Cruz had been out on bail after he was charged on Oct. 27, 2015, for being caught in a buy-bust operation in Santiago City.
