2 alleged drug dealers killed in Pangasinan

DAGUPAN CITY, Philippines—Two suspected drug dealers were shot dead on Monday in two separate incidents in Urdaneta City and Calasiao town in Pangasinan province.

Lourdes Panlilio, 31, was walking with her three siblings on a village road in Barangay (village) Casantaan in Urdaneta City when she was attacked by motorcycle-riding gunmen at 7:55 p.m.

Investigators said the gunmen greeted Panlilio and then shot her several times.

Police said Panlilio was in the city’s “priority target” list of drug suspects.

In Calasiao, 37-year-old tricycle driver Rechel Agpoon was sitting on a bench inside a makeshift shed in Barangay Banaoang around 6:25 p.m. when a man got off a motorcycle and shot him twice in the head at close range.

Agpoon, who was on Calasiao’s drug watch list, was pronounced dead on arrival at the Pangasinan Provincial Hospital in San Carlos City. RAM/rga
