DAGUPAN CITY – A former policeman was killed in a shoot-out with law enforcers during a buy-bust operation on Monday (July 25).
Former SPO1 Vicente Moulic, a suspected drug pusher, was shot dead when he drew his gun during the 10:45 a.m. operation at the suspect’s home in Sitio Tambac Melag, Pantal village, said Supt. Christopher Abrahano, city police chief.
Since July 1, four suspected drug dealers have been killed in this city after engaging arresting policemen. Eight others were killed by unknown assailants.
Anrahano said 538 drug users and pushers from different villages have surrendered to local authorities.
