LOOK: Man clambers up to PNR handrail to avoid packed coach
An unidentified man took a drastic measure to escape from being squished by his fellow passengers in a crowded Philippine National Railways (PNR) coach.
In photos posted by Edmer Bade on his Facebook account, a man can be seen on his back atop the train’s steel handrail while the other passengers looked on.
Bade said that the incident happened on Wednesday night at the PNR’s FTI station.
In an interview with INQUIRER.net, Bade said that the passengers of the train were amused by the man’s antics.
“Wala pong [sumaway] eh. Tuwang-tuwa lang po kameng mga pasahero sa kanya (Nobody said anything to him. We passengers were just amused by him),” he said.
