Pagasa: LPA won’t affect PH

A low pressure area (LPA) near Batanes has no direct effect on the country, the state weather bureau said midday Monday.

The LPA was last observed 725 kilometers northeast of Itbayat, Batanes, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.

A separate report from Panahon.TV said the LPA may exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) in the next 24 hours.
