Motorcycle-riding gunmen kill man inside moving Ecija police car
CABANATUAN CITY—Motorcycle-riding gunmen on Thursday shot an arrested suspect who was being driven to a police station in Nueva Ecija’s Cabiao town, according to a belated report on Saturday.
Israel Parael, 36, was sitting on the left back seat of a police car when the gunmen drove close to the moving vehicle and shot him along Talens St., Alua village in San Isidro town at 7 p.m., said PO2 Randy Beley, the lead investigator.
Parael’s police escorts fired back but the gunmen sped away.
They came from the provincial prosecutor’s office in this city, where Parael was subjected to inquest proceedings for an attempted homicide charge.
