MANILA — A low pressure area spotted east of Aurora is expected to bring rains to the Bicol Region, Visayas and Zamboanga, according to the forecast of the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Wednesday morning.

The weather bureau said that the LPA was estimated at 525 kilometers east of Casiguran, Aurora, as of 10 a.m. It will bring cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstoms over Bicol, Zamboanga Peninsula and Visayas.

Pagasa has said that light to moderate rains will also prevail over Aurora, Palawan and Quezon. Cloudy skies are also expected in Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

Luzon will have moderate to rough coastal waters with winds coming from the southwest.  SFM
