Ex-gasoline boy ‘aims gun,’ killed by cops in buy-bust operation

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan —  A suspected drug dealer was shot and killed on Sunday- (July 10) in Mangatarem town in Pangasinan province when he aimed a gun at arresting policemen during a buy-bust operation.

Jeffrey Fernandez, a former gasoline boy, died on the way to a hospital from gunshot wounds in different parts of the body, police said.

Four other suspects were arrested during the operation, which was conducted in Barangay Torres Bugallon at 3:10 p.m.

Police said Fernandez ran towards a parked truck to retrieve a gun after the police announced that he and his companions were being arrested.
