TV host Arnell Ignacio appointed to Pagcor

Comedian and TV host Arnell Ignacio has been appointed to the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. (Pagcor).

Presidential Communications Secretary Martin Andanar confirmed in a text message on Friday the appointment of Ignacio.

In a Facebook post on Friday, Ignacio said he was appointed assistant vice president for the community relation and services department of Pagcor.

“Pagcor isn’t all about gaming. As the AVP of the community relation and services department of Pagcor, we will be taking massively funded steps to improve health services, comprehensive feeding programs, completion of school buildings etc. No area will be too far from our helping hand,” he said.

Ignacio was among the celebrities who actively campaigned for President Rodrigo Duterte during the elections.
