TUGUEGARAO CITY — As much as 300 kilos of suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) were seized on Sunday from a farm in Claveria town in Cagayan province.
The farm in Culao village is owned by Rene Dimaya, according to the Cagayan valley office of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, but PDEA agents and policemen said no one was around when it was raided.
Police found seven black bags marked with the phrase, “Lea D,” containing the suspected contraband. The bags were inside ice boxes.
PDEA is trying to determine if the farm contraband is connected to the 30 kilos of suspected shabu found on June 23 in Centro village, also in Claveria. JE/rga
