Fire broke out in a three-story commercial building in Makati City on Friday morning, Radyo Inquirer 990AM reported.

Initial investigation of the Bureau of Fire Protection-Makati showed that the fire started at around 5 a.m. in one of the rooms on the third floor of Villa Building along Jupiter Street corner Makati Avenue in Barangay  Bel-Air.

The report said the fire was raised to third alarm several minutes later.

While the firemen were responding, roads along Jupiter Street and Makati Avenue were temporarily closed, affecting motorists coming from Buendia and going to Mandaluyong City.

No one was reported injured as the fire was declared under control by 6:19 a.m.
