A total of 1,243 out of 2,224 examinees passed the recent licensure examinations for architects, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Wednesday.

Data from PRC showed that Technological University of the Philippines in Manila emerged as the lone top-performing school with 86.79-percent passing rate or equivalent to 46 passers out of 53 examinees.

The PRC requires at least 50 examinees and at least 80-percent passing rate for a school to be declared as top-performing.

Jeff McDaniel Yu See of the University of Santo Tomas topped the exam with an 84-percent passing rate.

The exam was administered by the Board of Architecture in Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, and Legazpi last June 24 and 26.
