Like mother, like daughter.
Twinkie, a Jack Russell Terrier from California, United States, instantly broke the Guinness world record for the “Fastest Time to Pop 100 Balloons by a Dog” in a far-fetched time of 39.08 seconds. Twinkie is the daughter of Anastacia, a canine who broke the record twice in 2005 and 2008 and gripped the coveted world title for seven years.
Twinkie hastily used a “winner combo” of scratching its paws and biting the balloons.
The pup, trained and owned by Doree Sitterly, smashed the previous record of 41.67 seconds, which was achieved by British canine Cally the Wonderdog in a May 2015 segment of Britain’s Got Talent Live Semi-Final.
In a report by Guinness, Twinkie inherited her passion for the physical balloon-bursting sport from her mom, who is also owned by Sitterly. Anastacia had demonstrated her unique skill on American talk show Live with Regis and Kelly. Gianna Francesca Catolico
