LIST: Class suspensions on June 27 due to ‘Ambo’

Local government units have announced the suspension of classes for Monday, June 27 due to the effects of tropical depression “Ambo.”

In a 5 p.m. weather bulletin issued by Pagasa, Ambo is now moving at 22 kilometers per hour (kph) in a west northwest direction. It packs maximum sustained winds of 45 kph near the center and is located 140 kilometers northeast of Virac, Catanduanes.

With its current speed, it may exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Tuesday. It is also expected that the tropical depression may weaken once it hits land in Aurora Monday morning.
