NSO invites colleges to join statistics quiz

THE National Statistics Office (NSO) is inviting all universities and colleges in Negros Oriental to join the provincial elimination of the 20th Philippine statistics quiz in November.

The quiz is open to all freshman college students enrolled in the current and next semester in any recognized tertiary school in the province. Each school could send three participants and three coaches, said Provincial Census officer Ariel Fortuito.

The top three winners will represent the province during the regional elimination on Nov. 17. The national championship is set on Dec. 6 in Manila.

NSO is conducting the annual contest to test the freshman college students’ knowledge on statistics.
