Man shot dead in Manila; shabu found near body

MANILA — Two men on a motorcycle shot dead a 27-year-old man in Manila early Sunday.

The victim Gary Boy Lagare was standing near the corner of 11th street near Port Area when the gunmen shot him about 4:20 a.m.

Empty bullet casings of .9 mm and a .45-caliber hand gun were recovered at the site.

A report by PO3 Marlon San Pedro of the Manila Police District homicide section said Lagare died on the spot.

Initial probe also showed that sachets of suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) were found near his body.

His body was taken to the St. Rich Funeral Homes for autopsy.  SFM
