Mild quake jolts Davao Oriental
DAVAO CITY–A mild quake jolted the province of Davao Oriental on Friday dawn, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
Phivolcs said the magnitude 3.5 earthquake struck 92 kilometers southeast of the town of Governor Generoso at about 3:50 a.m.
The earthquake, which was tectonic in origin, had a depth of 27 kilometers.
Phivolcs said no damages and aftershocks were expected from the earthquake.CDG/rga
