RELOADING Beep cards has just become easier for passengers of the Light Rail Transit (LRT) Lines 1 and 2 and Metro Rail Transit (MRT) Line 3.
AF Payments Inc. on Tuesday said it has launched a partnership with Bayad Center whose network spans about 1,000 collection sites in Metro Manila alone.
Under the partnership, about 60 Bayad Center outlets “nearest the train stations” now serve as reloading centers for Beep cards, with more outlets expected soon.
Tambunting and Villarica pawnshops, as well as SM Business Centers, are part of Bayad Center’s payment collection network, it added.
AF Payments—which is led by Metro Pacific Investments Corp. and Ayala Corp.—operates the Beep card fare payment system. Miguel R. Camus
