Thunderstorm expected over NCR, nearby provinces—Pagasa

The state weather bureau said that a thunderstorm is expected over the National Capital Region and nearby provinces on Sunday afternoon.

Pagasa said that a thunderstorm may persist within two hours in the following areas:

-Bulacan (Norzagaray)

-Zambales (Botolan, Subic, Olongapo, Masinloc, Palauig)

-Batangas (Tanauan, Sto.Tomas, Malvar)

-Portions of Tarlac, Pampanga, Rizal, Laguna, and Quezon

“Expect thunderstorm over Cavite, Metro Manila, Bataan, Nueva Ecija, and other areas of Bulacan, Zambales within the next two hours,” Pagasa said in a thunderstorm advisory issued at 3:40 p.m.

Pagasa asked the public to take precautionary measures against heavy rains, strong winds, lightning, and possible flashfloods. AJH/JE
