11 men nabbed for raping 15-year-old girl in Bataan
LIMAY, Bataan—Police on Wednesday arrested 11 men, four of them minors, on charges of raping a 15-year-old girl whom they purportedly invited to a birthday party through text messages.
Facing rape charges at the Bataan prosecutor’s office were Jeffrey Panaga, 24; Jerome Nava, 23; Aaron Paul Calma, 22; Rhian Pador, 18; Ericsson Cruz, 18; Renzo Macalinao, 18; and Ced Errol dela Cruz, 18. They were detained in the provincial jail.
The four minors were placed in the custody of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), said Joy Transfiguracion, Limay social welfare officer.
The girl said she was offered liquor in the house of one of the suspects before she was taken to an apartment where she was abused. RAM/rga
