CA OKs appointments of AFP, DFA officials

The powerful Commission on Appointments (CA) has confirmed the ad interim re-appointments and appointments of 196 senior officers of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) as well as the appointments of 28 officials of the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA)

No member of the CA objected when a motion to confirm the appointments of the military officials was made in the plenary on Wednesday.

The CA also confirmed the appointments of the following diplomats:

Melanie Rita Diano Foreign Service Officer, Class I

Susanna Mendiola Foreign Service Officer, Class I

Jason Jovencio Anasarias Foreign Service Officer, Class I

Conrado Demdem Jr. Foreign Service Officer, Class I

Emmanuel Donato Guzman Foreign Service Officer, Class I

Reichel Quiñones Foreign Service Officer, Class I

Nomer Ado II Foreign Service Officer, Class II

Irish Kay Kalaw-Ado Foreign Service Officer, Class II
