Seventy-eight workers from different towing companies accredited by the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) have failed the mandatory drug test conducted by the agency, according to a radio report.

In a report by dzMM, MMDA towing and impounding chief Victor Nuñez on Monday said the workers who failed the drug test, mostly for “shabu” intake, had already been dismissed by their employers.

“Marami na ho kasing talagang complaints sa, tambak na tambak na ‘yung reklamo sa amin na, lalong-lalo na ‘yung nasa social media, and one way para talagang maturuan namin ‘yung mga towing companies at madisiplina is with these activities. Magkaroon ng seminar, drug testing, magkaroon ulit ng emission test,” Nuñez said.
