Sen. Bongbong Marcos won this round as he sustained his lead albeit a very slim one on the second day of canvassing at the House of Representatives.

With 113 certificates of canvass (CoC) of 165 CoCs counted by Congress sitting as the National Board of Canvassers, Marcos led by a hairline of 83,840 votes, garnering 13,214,810 against Robredo’s 13,131,330 as of 9:55 p.m. Thursday.

The NBOC ended the canvassing tonight with Agusan Del Sur, for a total of 39,288,724 votes canvassed for president, and 38,022,772 votes for vice president.

Marcos sustained his hairline lead even though votes came in from Robredo’s bailiwicks such as Camarines Sur and other Visayas provinces.
Marcos started his lead when his votes from the “Solid North” and Ilocos provinces came in, at one point giving him 1.9 million votes lead over Robredo
