DAVAO CITY –Presumptive President-elect Rodrigo Duterte said he might go to Sulu to meet with Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) chair Nur Misuari.
This after MNLF officials failed to meet the mayor when they were in Davao City recently.
Duterte denied allegations that he snubbed the MNLF commanders when they were in Davao.
“I am very sorry,” he said.
“Believe me, I don’t do that. I’ll fly to Jolo and talk to Nur,” he said in a midnight press conference Wednesday.
MNLF spokesperson Rev. Absalom Cerveza complained that they went to Davao on May 16 to talk to Duterte, but were not given the opportunity.
On that day, Duterte spent more than 20 hours receiving well-wishers. TVJ
