LOOK: 5-month-old gorilla, toddler melt hearts on social media

A delightful snapshot of two adorable toddlers–a girl and a gorilla–is melting hearts of social media users in the United States.

Two-year-old Braylee was on a tour inside Fort Worth Zoo in Texas when she laid her eyes on Gus, a 5-month-old baby western lowland gorilla. The sweet and pleasant moment when they pressed their palms together through a glass was snapped and uploaded on Fort Worth Zoo’s social media accounts on Facebook and Instagram on Tuesday.

The caption wrote, “As he gets older, Gus is exploring more and more of the world around him, which includes encounters with new friends like Braylee of Fort Worth.”

The photo was posted in relation to a photography contest sponsored by the zoo. As of this writing, the Facebook post accumulated 2,000 likes while the same picture posted on Instagram garnered 1,300 likes.
Many of the users were astounded with the photo’s ‘cuteness’.
