Gunmen kill supporter of Gapan City mayor-elect
GAPAN CITY, Nueva Ecija—A supporter of Mayor-elect Emerson Pascual was killed by two gunmen in his house in San Nicolas village on Sunday night.
Emelito Paltao was shot multiple times by two men who broke into his home at 8:50 p.m., police said.
Senior Supt. Manuel Cornel, Nueva Ecija police director, discounted politics as a motive for the murder.
