BOCAUE, Bulacan—Heavy traffic is expected on the northbound lane of the North Luzon Expressway (NLEx) today as thousands of Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) members will flock to the Philippine Arena here for an evangelical mission.

About 25,000 church members and guests started arriving  on Saturday afternoon for the event called “Pamamahayag,” which was scheduled to open at 8 a.m. on Sunday. The Pamamahayag would be led by INC Executive Minister Eduardo Manalo.

Police and the NLEx operator have deployed additional personnel to manage the traffic flow on roads leading to the Philippine Arena at the Ciudad de Victoria, said Senior Supt. Romeo Caramat Jr., Bulacan police director.
