Pirated DVDs, VCDs seized in Cebu City raids

POLICE and members of the Optical Media Board (OMB) seized sacks of pirated DVDs and VCDs in simultaneous raids in various malls in Cebu City yesterday afternoon.

At least P100,000 worth of pirated DVDs and VCDs were seized from one of the four stalls inside a mall at the North Reclamation Area.

Raids were also conducted in several stalls in downtown Cebu City.

The raids were conducted based on a search warrant issued by a Manila-based court. /CORRESPONDENT CHITO O. ARAGON
