A security guard is facing charges for allegedly threatening to leak a video that he had supposedly taken of a teenage couple while they were having sex at a memorial park in Caloocan City.
Caloocan Assistant City Prosecutor Diosdado Azarcon found probable cause to charge Enrique Corañez, 34, with child abuse, based on a complaint from a 16-year-old girl who said the suspect had threatened her and her boyfriend with blackmail.
According to the complaint, Corañez, a security guard at Eternal Gardens in Bagong Barrio, claimed to have a “sex video” of the couple which he took on May 12 at the cemetery.
The girl alleged that the suspect threatened to post the video online if she would not agree to have sex with him as well. She also maintained that she and her boyfriend were only necking and not having sex when the guard supposedly took the video.
Corañez, who was arrested by barangay officials in an entrapment operation at the cemetery on Friday, denied the allegation and claimed to be a victim of mistaken identity. Jodee Agoncillo and Jhena Sy
