P20M worth of shabu seized in Cavite home
SAN PEDRO CITY — Police arrested four persons and seized at least P20 million worth of shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) in a raid on a house in Bacoor City in Cavite province early Tuesday.
Supt. Ronan Claravall, Bacoor police chief, said policemen recovered 23 sachets of shabu, weighing 10.4 kilograms, from the suspects during the raid in a subdivision in Barangay Queensrow West at 2:30 a.m.
Arrested were Isa Umpara Abundas, Jamil Umpara Abundas, Michael Ruiz Dumagay Jr. and Camallouding Ruiz Dumagay, Claravall said.
He said the house where the suspects were arrested served as a repacking station of illegal drugs sourced from a group of Chinese financiers whom he did not name. SFM/rga
