Celino wins fresh mandate as Roxas City mayor

ILOILO CITY — Mayor Alan Celino of Roxas City, Capiz, was proclaimed winner in his city’s mayoral race, defeating Mercedes “Chedeng” Bermejo.

Celino (Liberal Party) got 38,816 votes while Bermejo (independent) had 27,590 votes with 99.35 percent of precincts processed, according to the Commission on Elections mirror server.

Celino will be serving a third term.

The city board of canvassers also proclaimed Erwin Sicad (LP) with as vice mayor with 54,573 votes defeating Isagani Acat (United Nationalist Alliance) who got 6,406 votes.  SFM
